G’day people, Is anyone into good old school death metal anymore? I was looking for a few hacks out there that were into my style of music who would be interested in having a go at this type of music. I was thinking cover songs of bands such as six feet under, obituary etc. and then to invent our own stuff once we get our shit together. Basically I just wanna have a bit of fun first. I haven’t had that much experience playing with others – just a little when I was a kid. I’m 29 now.
As I said, I am after hacks and not professional musicians to play with as I am no guitar master myself but can play alright I guess. This way we could improve together as players. I work away up north for 2 weeks of the month but have plenty of time to practice when I am home. I reckon I can learn to play things fairly easy but need the “kick up the bum” of playing with others to motivate me to get better and to keep me interested if you know what I mean. I have my own transport and my gear is a Marshall avt150 combo with a cabinet, metal top warlock bc rich guitar and I use a GT8 processor. No fukn criminal cu*nts!!!
